Section IV - Background information on the Furry Land franchise

14 things you need to know about the Furry Land franchise

Start a franchise

1. In early November 2020, Furry Land launched a franchise plan. After a successful opening in 2017, Furry Land has grown rapidly and currently has a franchise for sale as more people than ever are embracing the idea of caring for pets at home and away.

2. Nicholas Field, Founder of Furry Land, said: “The COVID-19 pandemic has led to a proliferation of home delivery services and businesses that don't have physical stores. Mobile grooming has never been so popular. We are able to safely provide grooming services.” Go to people's homes and maintain social distancing. Easy and convenient!”

3. Field says no experience in the cosmetics industry is required to run the company. With tens of millions of furry pets across the country, the grooming industry has tremendous growth potential today. Furry Land has spent years perfecting its business processes and making mobile care businesses easier, more convenient and faster than any other company on the market.

4. Field added, “The Furry Land franchise represents a fantastic opportunity to be part of an industry that is always in short supply. Pets need regular grooming, and that's not going to go away. We are doing our best to get new ones. Relocating the beauty business has been made as easy as possible.”

5. Field personally brings over a decade of corporate growth and small business development experience. Also, Field started the company three years ago (at the time of press release) with a single van and has seen it grow into a nationwide company that requires booking weeks and months in advance. He has a passion for pets and is passionate about creating new small business systems that make everyone's life easier.

Opens first office in Arizona

6. In early August 2022, Furry Land opened a new location in Phoenix, Arizona. The state's first fur park is owned and operated by Jennifer Ness. According to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), regular pet grooming includes brushing the pet's hair and coat, washing the pet's skin, and cleaning the pet's eyes, teeth, nails, and coat. This is important for any dog breed as it will help prevent common health problems like excessive shedding and painful tangles.

7. Ness says, “All three of my dogs are groomed on a regular basis, so I know how challenging appointments can be, especially with large dogs, and how exhausting it can be to groom and then cage animals until they are ready .” Stress is used during airport pickup. When I thought about investing in Furry Land Mobile Grooming I was immediately intrigued by the concept. Because we deliver right to our customers' doorsteps, the experience can be made easier, more convenient and more efficient for everyone.

8. Ness' investment in Furry Land fulfilled her desire to be part of the pet care industry. With a personal passion for dogs, Furry Land enables her to provide positive, necessary services that benefit both pets and their owners. As an independent management consultant in the financial services industry, Ness uses her entrepreneurial experience and skills to grow her new venture.

9. Ness hired Arizona native Colleen Rillos as operations manager. Rillos has extensive experience in the spa and pet care industry making it a perfect fit for a mobile grooming business. She began volunteering at an animal shelter at age 15 and nurtured her love for animals by working in a pet food store. Rillos loves walking her dog, Dior Phoenix, and exploring the local trails.

10. Lilos said, "We provided much of Arizona with the services they needed while they were caring for the dogs. Our returned animals looked nice and clean and most importantly the care has helped keep your dog in the best of health.”

11. Furry Land's temperature-controlled van comes equipped with power to run essential appliances, a water heater for the perfect bath temperature, and a therapeutic bath system to cleanse and soothe pets. Furry Land's beauticians brush teeth, bathe, wash and groom hair, towel dry (face), blow dry (body), epilate, cut and trim hair, clean eyes and ears, and trim nails. Customers can take advantage of additional services such as mat removal, breath freshening treatments, and canine facials. In addition, pet supplies can be delivered during grooming.

company history

12. Furry Land was founded in 2017 by Nicholas Field in Las Vegas, Nevada. The company offers a wide range of pet care services in a mobile environment. Furry Land's mobile salons work directly with clients in its service area. With a decade of experience building small businesses, Field Furry Land started with just one van. The concept was a success and Field began franchising in 2020.

April 13, 2021, current franchisee Furry Cuts! Petmobile International, LLC acquires the assets of its predecessor, Furry Land, LP. There are now Furry Land franchises in Arkansas, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Kentucky, Missouri, Nevada, South Carolina, Texas and Utah.
